Adobe photoshop cs2?

i just downloaded the free trial of adobe photoshop cs2, but it crashes on start up. i can open it, but cant do anything else because as soon as i click, it goes to not responding. if anyone can please help?

also, not just giving me a website where they talk about this, ive been to them, dont understand at all! need it explained in simple terms please! thanks

By the sounds of it, you have a pirated copy of of Photoshop... one that's not bought off the shelves. Is this true? If that IS the case, the reason it will be 'crashing' is because the software cannot validate that your software is legal.

If this is not the case, and it's a shelf bought copy of photoshop with a legitimate serial code - I unfortunately don't have a solution for you.

If the problem persists, may I suggest you take a look at the link in the 'Sources' to find an alternative to using Photoshop.

can you post the operating system information - are you using Windows or OX and which version. What RAM do you have on your machine? What other graphics packages are you using? Will check back to help.
you're doing better than me coz im doing the same, but i cant even get it open, it keeps trying to unzip, so i say yes and then it wants to do it again!
