In Photoshop when I want to open a file none of the files are arranged by name. The folders are at the end of the list while the separate files are first (and not arranged by name). When I right click to arrange files by name it works but then when I close the window, or click to open another it resets again.

Right click on the image, and use the rename feature, listed in the fly down menu.
