I needed to know how to make 3 layers in photoshop.

I have a tutorial that told me this..and can someone please tell me what and how to do this.....

To create a new layer, you can either

1. Click the new layer button in the layer box usually located on the right hand side, it's usually right beside the delete layer button which is a trash can

2. Go to the layer menu, then new, and select layer

3. Press Shift-Ctrl-N

2 and 3 will bring up a new layer menu, just type in what you want to name your layer and press ok
