hey I have a photo in photoshop of a man standing in front of a building ,so i want to take this guy to another pic , what's the best way to select him very carefully without bad edges?

i can't think of anything except cropping %26 photomerging, but that may be more time-consuming than you want.

Okay ... the most professional way I can think of to cut a person out is by using a clipping mask. To do this, the first thing you want to do is create a new layer over the top of the photo. Now select a brush and carefully paint over the entire of the guy ... make the brush slightly blurred for the edges of his body and hair, and make it larger and smaller to suit how fine you want it.
Once you've basically covered him in ink (It doesn't matter what colour this is - fluoro's stand out well and won't get confused with the background, so I'd advise something bright), switch back to your background, select all and cut. Paste that as a new layer and make sure it is above the layer that your outline of the guy is on.
The next step is to link the two layers - have them both selected in your layers palette, click the arrow at the top right of the palette (or wherever else it is), and select 'link layers'. Now click just on the top layer (which should be the layer the photo is on), go to the same arrow, and select 'create clipping mask'.
The background should disappear, and you should be left with the guy. If you now pull that layer onto the pic you intend to move the picture to, he should be all nicely cut out to the brush marks you've made.
if you are not experienced in photoshop the best tool to use is the magnetic lasso
