Help with Photoshop and a Picture?

I have a picture and I want the edges to gradually fade to white, like a border. How would I accomplish this quickly and easily in Photoshop?

make a selection (marquee) that is smaller than the image you want to fade.

in the selection menu, choose "feather", then invert the selection

then choose "fill" with white and you'll have feathered edges.

You could also use a layer mask (and dozens of other techniques)
